Know your
scroll.

Doomscrolld measures the distance and pace of eligible vertical scrolling, then gives the behavior back as something you can read.

No account. No product backend. No behavioral uploads.

The quick glance.
Today, without leaving the page.

01 / Premise

Screen time measures duration.
Doomscrolld measures behavior.

Distance. Pace. Sessions. Patterns. The product is curious about how content moved past you, not interested in grading the result.

02 / Product

One behavior,
three depths of understanding.

Start with the number. Open more only when curiosity asks for it.

03 / Measurement

Honest about the estimate.

Raw distance is content movement in CSS pixels. Screenfuls normalize that movement by viewport height. Every movement counts, up or down, like an odometer. Real-world distances are reference metaphors, not physical travel.

05 / Install

A working experiment.
Installed by hand.

The preview currently targets Google Chrome and is distributed as a release zip.

  1. Download the latest release and unzip it somewhere permanent.

  2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.

  3. Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

  4. Open or refresh a normal webpage, scroll, pause briefly, then open Doomscrolld.

Keep the extension installed to keep its history. Chrome deletes extension-local data when the extension is removed. Reload the extension card after local updates; do not remove it.

06 / Later

One history.
More places.

Doomscrolld starts in Chrome. Mobile and desktop remain on the roadmap, with each platform using only the signals it can measure honestly.
